STREET CHILDREN
Anchor of Hope is ministering to children who are orphaned or come from families too poor to provide for their needs. We are doing this by partnering with Christians in Rwanda who have pledged to love and care for these children as God provides.
This program includes:
- Giving children the opportunity to gain an education by paying school fees and providing necessary supplies for them to be successful in school
-
Providing these children with a local person, ministry, or church who will follow their progress and needs, sharing with them the love of Jesus Christ and teach them godly values
- Providing a meal daily for at least 25 children

CEER Church
Anchor of Hope
is partnering with the Community of Evangelical Churches in Rwanda (CEER)
in the Promotion of Health Development
Program… so that the soul, spirit, and body may be transformed
until Jesus comes (1 Thes. 5:21)

This program includes:
Sharing the message of Hope found only in Jesus Christ
-
Programs to teach youth and adults about HIV and the behavior change
necessary to protect themselves from this and other diseases, as well
as providing accountability, support, and discipleship among the groups, with opportunities for socializing
through sports
-
Teaching
the importance of living with compassion and love toward those who
may be in your life or community that are infected with HIV/AIDS
-
HIV/AIDS
testing and Christian counseling
- Ministering
to physical and spiritual needs through a church based clinic, by paying salaries of the nurses and a guard
-
Providing
support
groups for those infected with HIV/AIDS to come together to be encouraged
in God’s word, learning of the Hope that He is for our souls,
developing friendships, and learning that their testimony and their
life is useful for the Lord’s Kingdom
-
Ways
to generate income through small animal projects as well as other
projects for those fighting poverty, as poverty is a common factor
that often leads to discouragement, declining health, and immoral
decisions.
We also have been given opportunity to provide funds for the CEER Church to build two badly needed school buildings.
